Treating hair loss – individual and targeted
Every case of hair loss has its own cause. That is why we start with a careful analysis of your hair and scalp. On this basis we discuss suitable treatment options with you and draw up an individually tailored treatment plan under the supervision of our head surgeon.
The aim is to reduce hair loss as far as possible, preserve existing hair and support hair growth. Which treatment is right for you and which results are realistic, we clarify in a personal consultation.
Cause first, then therapy
Hereditary hair loss is the most common cause in men, but far from the only one. Iron deficiency, thyroid conditions, stress, hormonal changes or certain medicines can also be behind it. Every treatment therefore starts with a trichoscopy of the scalp and, where sensible, blood tests such as ferritin, thyroid and vitamin D.
Every hair runs through a cycle of growth, transition and rest. In hair loss the growth phase shortens, hair becomes finer and falls out earlier. Therapy aims to keep as many follicles as possible in the active phase.
What the plan can include
Depending on the findings our head surgeon combines PRP, mesotherapy and scalp care. Whether medication is an option is discussed with you individually – including possible side effects. After a transplant the same therapy helps preserve the existing, non-transplanted hair.
Questions about this treatment
Can hereditary hair loss be stopped?
It cannot be cured, but in many cases it can be slowed considerably. The earlier you start, the more of your own hair you keep.
Do you treat women too?
Yes. In women hair loss is more often diffuse and more often has hormonal or deficiency-related causes. Diagnosis matters especially here.
Do I need to travel to Istanbul for this?
The initial diagnosis happens on site, often combined with a city break. Many patients combine it with a PRP session. Follow-up afterwards runs via photos and video.
